How Your Funding Makes a Difference to Cameroon’s Biodiversity and Conservation

By Mina Phillips

A little support can go a long way. If you’re considering contributing to the Association for Biodiversity, Conservation and Rural Development; we would greatly appreciate your support. Here’s why…

Biodiversity conservation

ABCARD originated out of a desire to protect wildlife species in Cameroon. With your support, we can continue to do this by setting up nurseries and planting trees, working to regulate illegal hunting of wildlife and so much more.

Rural community livelihood development

Your donations help us to set up sustainable community development models, identify natural resources and to educate local communities on how to sustainably use these resources.

Environmental education within the community

Knowledge is power and, with your help, we can equip local communities with the power to protect and live harmoniously with Cameroon’s wildlife and their habitats. Our work surrounding this includes organising positive and educational community events, environmental clubs and supporting environmental education within schools.

Humanitarian programs

Your contribution helps us to help our local communities to live safely, sustainably and with dignity. More funding allows us to provide shelter, food, water, medical supplies and income generation to our community members who need it most.
